How long is the Performance?

Roughly 2 hours and 20 minutes wityh a 20 minute interval

 

Is there an interval?

Yes, an interval of 20 minutes.

 

Age Guidance:

The production is suitable for children aged 5 and over. We do not recommend this performance for babes in arms or very young children.  Children of a younger age will be admitted but do require their own ticket and seat even if he/she is sitting on your lap.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This is to ensure the comfort and safety of everyone who visits the threesixty theatre.

 

My child will sit on my lap. Do I still need a ticket?

Yes, we require all children to have a ticket and allocated seat.

 

Is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe a musical?

The production is a play but does feature some live music and a pre-recorded fully orchestrated sound track.

 

What’s theatre in the round?

The audiences are situated all around the stage in a circular formation. The performance is directed in front of you all around.

 

What are the 360 degree projections?

Images are created and then projected 360 degrees all around the inside walls of the tent.

 

Is it open air?

NO! The threesixty Theatre is a multi-million pound purpose built state-of-the-art tent and is temperature controlled. WE have played in -20 degrees in Atlanta, USA and +40 in Los Angeles, USA , and a hurricane in Chicago so we are prepared for all weather.

 

What is the seating like inside the threesixty Theatre?

Tiered, comfortable theatre seating. Chairs don’t have arm rests.

 

What time do the threesixty Theatre doors open?

30 minutes before performance time. The full site will open earlier.

 

What will happen if I am late for the performance?

You will be held until a suitable point in the performance and asked to watch the live feed on our TV screen in the Pavilion. We have late comers points during act 1 & act 2 and we also have the interval. You may also be asked to sit in easily accessible seating and moved to your own seats during the intermission. Due to the nature of the performance, there may be points when it is not possible to enter the auditorium

Customers cannot stand at the back or sit in the aisles due to our licensing conditions.

 

What if my child gets scared or upset?

We invite you to watch the show on the TV screen in the Pavilion until he/she is confident enough to return to your seats.

Is there wheel chair accessible seating/Access seating?

Yes, In Blocks B and D. 

Do you have a hearing assistance device?

Yes, the traditional ‘loop’ system is in operation. This will provide an amplified feed to the hearing aid. This is covering SECTION D ONLY! Please ensure to select tickets in section D when booking.

 

Do you have a cloakroom?

Yes, the cloakroom/buggy park opens 30 minutes before show time.

 

Can I take food and drink inside the threesixty Theatre?

We invite you to take drinks inside the auditorium in plastic glasses. You can pre order drinks for the interval! Ice-cream, sweets & popcorn can be taken into the auditorium, but hot food or food on plates will not be allowed inside the theatre.

 

Can I take photographs or video inside the threesixty Theatre?

No, photography and filming is not allowed and all mobile phones and pagers must be switched off.

 

Are animals allowed at The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe?

With the exception of Assistance Dogs, animals are not allowed on site or in the auditorium. Staff will be on hand to look after any assistance dogs during the show.

 

Can I smoke at The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe?

In the designated areas only. Smoking is not permitted inside the Pavilion, auditorium, or toilets.

 

Do you have a lost property?

How do I get cast autographs?

We have no formal procedure for this but if you’re lucky you might just catch the cast after the show!
